A little bit about me
I work part-time as a GP, having qualified at Edinburgh University in the 1990's.
I became interested in NLP and coaching several years ago when I first read about the difference it could make to doctors' consultation skills and how it can enable them to build greater rapport with patients and focus on helping people to help themselves whenever possible.
As a GP and NLP coach, I have seen what an incredible impact NLP coaching can have on peoples' lives - significant lasting changes can be made in often short spaces of time.
I teach medical students consultation skills and regularly receive enthusiastic feedback about how the NLP techniques have made them better communicators in all areas of their life.
I have completed a diploma in Life and Executive Coaching with Noble-Manhattan, an international coaching training company. I have qualified as an NLP practitioner with renowned trainers Nick Kemp and Tina Taylor.
I have a supervisor with whom I reflect on my coaching practice and who supports me as I develop my skills and experience further.
I am married with 2 children and my relationships have benefited greatly from the application of the techniques I've learned and put into practice.
I have my own coach and I am committed to my personal learning and growth. I therefore know how it feels to be coached and I've experienced the powerful difference it makes.
